Typically, we do a Home, About, Services, Contact. And then either a Gallery or Blog as the 5th. All pages are built out to have sections such as a call to action banner (ie ‘Call us for a free quote today’), photos to show off your business, about the business, philosophy, contact form, etc. 

You know those super generic, ultra-modern websites that make your locally owned trades business seem like a random, indistinguishable tech company. Yeah, that is not my style! Every website is tailored to fit your business and represent authenticity. 

If you have a domain or would like to purchase it beforehand, that works great. Most of my domains are from https://porkbun.com. This should only cost you around $10/year. And then ‘hosting’ is essentially the parking spot your website is parked at to be available on the world wide web. 

If you want to be fully hands-off, I can manage hosting and maintenance on a per month basis. Otherwise, the flat fee website development includes the set up and technical details.

All of my websites are built in WordPress.org. We use it as a content management system, which allows you to easily edit the content of your website without having to hire a developer for minor updates. You will have full access and be set up as an admin. 

Keyword optimization in all of the copy/descriptions to ensure every aspect is search engine conducive. Back-end meta data for images and pages. 

If you have a logo, fantastic! We can work with it. If not, no worries – I’m happy to craft one for you. Do you have a favorite color or palette in mind for your branding? This is the fun part, so let me know what you are thinking. 

If I google ‘electricians near me,’ Google shows me all nearby ones on a map. This requires you to set it up and register your business. Fully configured & optimized with all website builds. It will link directly to your fresh, new website. Same goes with your Yelp business profile. 

Sitemaps are what tells Google the exact pages and content of your website. IF you submit your sitemap directly to google, your business can begin appearing on searches within a few days. Otherwise, it could take months. 

To truly justify your website investment, I’ll set up your analytics so you can track exactly how much traffic it generates. 🙂

How long will it take to build the website?

Your website can be up and running within 2-4 weeks. Once we’ve discussed the project needs, contract is signed and deposit is received, we begin working on it immediately. 

I’ll design the homepage, and get your feedback on it. I’ll revise accordingly. Then, build out the remaining pages. I’ll refer it back to you for the last round of feedback and update. Lastly, I’ll get everything published and configured. 

Any and as many photos of your work. Your logo, if you have one. Color palette preferences. And around 30 minutes of your time to discuss your business, website goals and vision

You own 100% of the copyright and have full account admin access. The website development is flat-fee, meaning once the project is complete you are not tied to any sort of subscription model for the website. It is fully yours and you have complete autonomy over it. 

You will be able to edit the website via WordPress.org; this is the Content Management System we use. I’ll give you a tutorial sheet on how to use it and ensure your personal email is added as an admin. 

You will easily be able to edit photos, descriptions, hours, titles, etc. 

Of course! Almost all my ‘Contact’ pages has a form that prospective customers can fill out. It sends all inquires to your email, and you are able to reach out. 

These are great, especially for trade-based business as it gives customers another way to get in touch with you. Rather, than calling. Or, if you are unable to answer the phone, it eases potential frustration of not being able to reach you. 

I can! Whether you have raw html & css coded files or a website builder like Wix, I’m happy to discuss how we can transform it. 

** Although if you using a web builder, you may consider having one built from scratch for long term planning. A website built on Wix/Squarespac/Weebly/etc aren’t transferrable files and you’ll never own the copyright. So, if you are paying $17/month – you are essentially renting your website. If we build in WordPress.org, you own the copyright and it is an actual asset/investment to your business. You pay for hosting, but if you really wanted to pinch pennies we have the ability to export the actual files and transfer to a static or cheaper hosting provider.
